Apply for an International Fuel Tax Agreement (IFTA) Licence
Overview
Fuel Tax reporting is required from all interjurisdictional trucking firms that travel in Saskatchewan with commercial motor vehicles that have a gross vehicle weight of 11,797 kilograms or more.
International Fuel Tax Agreement (IFTA) registrants must file their tax return quarterly by the 30th of the month following the end of the quarter.
Eligibility
Interjurisdictional trucking firms must apply for an International Fuel Tax Agreement (IFTA) licence to report and account for Fuel Tax payable and distances traveled in each jurisdiction in which they operate.

To request additional decals, log into SETS and select File a Form from the Online Transactions menu. Select your business from the Legal Name drop down and the IFTA/License and Decal account from the Account drop down. Under Form Type, select IFTA Decal Request. Complete the remaining drop down fields and select Next to complete the request.
